bond with my cat

Now my kitty comes onto the bed and meows me awake. He actually stays on the bed or lays on me. He lets me pet him more. It’s very nice.

I make a conscious effort to pet Amun more than the few seconds I used to; I’ve noticed he seems to want more then seems disappointed when I stop after the initial pet. I think he’s noticing I’m trying to pay more attention to him.

I have two cats and I love them more than I ever thought I could. I got them both about five years ago and I’d always had pets and loved my pets, but I’ve never bonded with other animals like this. I guess the difference is that I’m on my own now instead of living at home and having family pets. It’s nice to curl up with a kitty on your lap to cuddle when you’re feeling crappy, and even better to play with a pet who can make you laugh and smile.

Amun came up to me when I was playing video games, so I pet him thought it splits my attention. I rubbed his furry belly, and he actually stayed beside me after I stopped. It seems he accepts me a bit more.

My cat somewhat distrusts me because I don’t play with him in the way my fiance does. I want to be more involved and consistent so he’ll love me again.

We’re more than bonded. More like fused.
