For the most part, I am having a lot less trouble with this. So I’m going to take it off my list.

Today I got up before 9am and am nearly ready to go to Farmers’ Market. I have an appointment at 11am, so that helped get me up early. I have to visit Farmers’ Market and be back home before 10:30 to be on time for the appointment.

I am ahead of schedule, despite having started out behind.
So far:
8:40 am Get out of bed
9:10 am Finish getting showered and dressed
9:40 am Finish with breakfast
9:50 am Ready to go out the door
10:00 am Drum class (but I was late!)
12:30 pm Lunch with a friend
3:15 pm Errand (Pet store)
3:45 pm Back home
So, I’m 15 minutes ahead of myself, despite the late start.

As this is being posted at 2am and I’m about an hour from ready to go to bed, it remains to be seen how close I’ll get to this rising time.

Well, I can’t claim total success. But believe me, this is an improvement over my usual, so maybe making the list is the way to go. At least it gets me closer.
Slippage: I got up one and a half hours later than I’d planned. I drove to the Farmers’ Market and discovered $20 I’d counted on wasn’t actually in there; not certain if I lost it or just misplaced it, but it necessitated a drive to Ralph’s to get cash, then back to Farmers’ Market. I lost about 40 minutes to dawdling before my jog to the beach.
Net result is I only got 5.5 hours of contract work done instead of 7; didn’t pick up the dry cleaning; didn’t start dinner until 8:50 nor eat until 9:20, and there isn’t much time left for writing if I want to be in bed by 11. Which I’d better do because I need to do another 4-5 hours work tomorrow.

My first goal for awhile will be to get up and out of the house earlier on Saturday morning. Saturday is unlike any other day. It has unlimited potential. I want to have more of it.
I always say I want to do this, and then Saturday after Saturday goes by where I dawdle around. I got up at 8:30 this morning and then dawdled until noon (okay, I also ate breakfast, showered and got dressed). I am skipping going to Farmers’ Market today because I didn’t get moving early enough. I’m so displeased with myself that I’m going to try this goal to see if it can help me break a bad habit.
Next Saturday: I will be out of the house by 9:30. When I have 5 Saturdays in a row logged here, where I’m out of the house by 9:30, I will count this goal finished.
I’m kickin’ butt, here, and it’s Moi’s butt I’m kickin’!
