just moving it over as I want my goals to be things that I want to achieve in 2007. And travelling the world is not one of the things I’ll be able to do this year

Me and him indoors left the kids with my mother and jumped on the Swift over to Dublin. The trip over was a tadge rocky – several of the passengers seemed to feel the need to use the sick bags. Me and him sat sipping our very expensive vodka and cokes, reading our books and wondering what all the fuss was about :D
After our magical mystery tour in the taxi to my friends house we spent 2 fab days with them. My friends fella is the drummer in a band called Spellbound and him and his bandmates were backing musicians to Tony Christie on The Late Late Show on the Friday night. So after our night out at the Voodoo Bar the night before where we saw Humanzi play live we spent the friday night drinking and eating pate and watching her man on the tv :D
Saturday me and him went to a big posh hotel in Dublin city centre. It was a posh hotel, there was a man who opened my taxi door and carried my bag in! And in the room we had an exercise bike, a dvd player AND fluffly bathrobes :D
Saturday night we found ourselves in a gay bar called Gubu. It was fantastic and we had a great time. It was him indoors first time in a gay bar but most definately not mine. I spent many of my formative years in gay pubs and clubs – one of my good friends is gay so I didn’t have a boyfriend for a good year or two but my friend most definately did LOL
Sunday we had our breakfast delivered to our room on a tray – tres posh ;) Shame we were too tired to appreciate it properly but once we’d had a snooze we woke up and got stuck in. We took a stroll to The Porter House and later we had our lunch at the famous Burdocks chipper. yum yum
Sunday night we went to the cinema (trust us that may not seem a big deal to everyone but we live in a small village and to try to get to the cinema without the kids is like an army manouvre) and we saw The Devil Wears Prada. It was good but not the great comedy the critics said it was.
Monday we got back on the ferry (a lot smoother ride this time) and back to our kiddiewinks.
Fab trip – meeting up with my mate, having some away time with hubby AND a posh hotel. What more can a girl ask for? :)

in a few weeks for a lovely long weekend to catch up with an old friend for a day or two and then a nice rest with hubby in a posh (well it looks posh) hotel. I am a lucky woman-he knows how to spoil me ;)

of pure steel. around the world on his bike
Spent hours today reading all about his journey and why he did and hats off the guy he has a heart of gold, (as already said) thighs of steel and more memories than any of us could ever hope for.

As you can see Europe’s been popular these last few years so I’m hoping one of these days I’ll get a bit further afield.
