I’ve noticed that the more frequently I call my parents and other relatives, the shorter the conversations are.
By keeping in contact more often, I don’t dread the two-hour-catch-up call anymore.
This has been the hardest resolution to follow through with. When I’m done with all my school work, I’m so tired and really not in the mood to talk on the phone.
I bought stationery and I’d love to write people some letters, but I don’t have everyone’s address.
On the positive side, I’ve been better about updating my blog.
I thought this would be something nice to work on in 2008.
I know my grandmother gets bored and lonely a lot, so a phone call every week would be nice. And my aunt, when I can get a hold of her, enjoys a chat now and then.
Also, my parents have always been really good about letting me live my own life at school, and as a result, I don’t really talk to them as often as I should.
I’ve got both my cousin’s phone numbers as well, which I should use.
