I gave up on my 30-Day ab program in preference for a total body w/o. Not to be fickle or anything but I don’t think focusing on one body part at the exclusion of others is such a good thing after all. Besides, JM kicks butt. Her w/os are tough but they’re effective. Now I just really have to finish 30 Day Shred in order to call it a home run. 2 months ago

Got this in my inbox today and it’s from Jillian Michaels
If you plan on doing cardio on the same day as your resistance training, it’s better to do it after your weight routine. While it’s true that a 5-minute cardio warm-up is necessary before any resistance training, doing intense cardio beforehand will deplete most of your available blood sugar, which you need for those quick bursts of energy that resistance training requires. Also, cardio will fatigue your muscles before you lift a single weight, which will prevent you from maxing out your muscles’ potential. On the days when you are resting your muscles and doing cardio alone, the best time of day is absolutely any time. The most important thing is that you do it.

I’ve decided that to me those words will mean 5 times a week. I’ll monitor on my calendar and consider it a success if I exercise at least 18~20 times in a given month this year =) 3 months ago

I did a low impact 20-min cardio this morning and feel pretty good about it =) Coming from perhaps a week of no exercise, I was careful not to do too much and get myself sore. Tomorrow I’ll do something a bit more demanding but again, just for 20 minutes. Then build up from there. Consistency is key! 3 months ago

I joined as a fitness club member. I paid quite a sum for this (worth it though!). However because it’s a bit pricey it drives me to go to the club so that I can indeed have my money worth. So it’s actually good that its a bit pricey heheh.. 19 months ago
