I subsequently opened a belly dance school, Sausan Academy of Egyptian Dance, one year after I opened my restaurant. dance school. I am now formulating my Egyptian dance company, The Sausan Ensemble: An Egyptian Dance Company. Lessons & tips: Study and dance before you teach. Take time to learn everything and then teach when you don't think you should really be dancing for the public -- around 48 years old. On Sunday I had my third performance (ever). This time in one of the shopping centres in my city – dance with veils :D. I can’t wait for my next time ;)

So.. it’s been a year since I started and I am really happy about it, this is definetely the most enjoyable thing in my life :D So far I performed twice (once all by myself hihi), learned how to dance to drums, with veils, tribal belly dance and lately also dance using cymbals (zills). We’ll see what’s gonna be next ;)

I’ve always wanted to try belly dancing so I looked for a class but there is none around the place I live in now. I need to ask my friends if they know any place that I can learn it. I really want to try it!!

i’ve wanted to belly dance for years but i always felt self conscious about the face that i’m a bit overweight … i’ve got up the nerve though …. i just completed my first introductry class .... finallyyy!!!! ..... i absolutely love it!!!!!!!!!

I only random dance these days, no belly dance!!! just close ur eyes close the curtains turn on music and shake like crazy. liek mad! If u have a dog like mine, throw him out or he will get excited and start to dance with u( which includes biting me )

I finally started taking bellydance classes about 8 months ago. It’s so much fun! I had my first public group performance a couple of months ago at Nicola’s Restaruant in Decatur, and I’m about to move up to intermediate level. It’s great excercise and so much fun!
