FINISH the house!!!

I want to finish decorating all of the small things that I have been putting off. If I would just hang the curtains in the dining room, finish off the windows in the family rooms, pictures on the entry wall…..it would be perfect if I could just finish it off.

project on hold for now. considering to sell it as it is; too often has it been reason for arguments, and now probably for marriage breakdown.

The 103 yeard old lady downstairs believes there is German bomb from WW2 underneath the house that is causing subsidence by burrowing about. Shes lived there since the 30s and heard it land. Quite why she is choosing to mention it now I cannot fathom. We now have two leaks: one in the kitchen and one in the roof. Sigh. Still if we fix these then the kitchen is goign to be retiled and will no longer look like a madman has taken an axe to the plaster work and then we can get the wooden floors sanded. Lovely! With house price inflation at 200% per annum per minute in North London, our house will be worth 3 trillion by Next Tuesday. We can sell it before the bomb goes and takes out the bottom two floors and move into a cupboard off Regents Park.
