organize a photo/art show this year

i am currently working with a large arts festival in the capacity of graphic design and coordination. worked with this same festival last year but not with this level of responsibility.

have an opportunity to put a couple of pieces in a show soon.

i was talking to a friend the other day and i heard her say that she would also like to get a show together soon. i will meet up with her soon and have a more in-depth convo to what her thoughts are and see if she would like to work together on this. otherwise, i need to start thinking about the theme/concept of the show.

i do not want it to be another craft/greeting card/holiday buying event. i would not mind people buying items for gifts but i do not want it look like a typical williamsburg retail event elevated to something that resembles art.

i am open to all serious artist and photographers.
