Ivymere continually searches for her ground, her sky, and herself
Got my new mouse in, which is remarkably more comfortable than my old one. Both are from Microsoft. My new one is blue but I don’t like the scrolly wheel as much. I’ll get over it. It’s much more comfortable, slightly larger, and I just changed the settings to left-handed with the exception of all Photoshop and Illustrator work because it’d take months to undo what I’ve learned and relearn what I know to the left hand. With me needing those programs for school practically every day, I’ll stick with my right hand on that. :)
Wish me luck!
And hope everyone else is doing well too!

I realize that simply being able to switch hands with the mouse is not enough, but when combined with decreased computer time my right hand and wrist is getting the increased rest that it needs.

For those of you who have been following me for some time will know that I’ve had a few close calls with Repetitive Strain Injuries in my right hand and wrist that stopped short of Carpel Tunnel. After a few times of brief discomfort in my right hand that prompted a decrease in computer usage I realized that I decided to work on learning how to use my computer mouse in my left hand to allow my right hand to get more rest, given that the vast majority of computer input is from the mouse and not the keyboard.
