    I have survived two bouts of cancer and taking an african safari is something that I have wanted to do for years. I have finally decided now is the time. I’ve found a friend to go with me, bought african travel books and now the research begins. This will be a goal that I intend to accomplish in 2010. Now to save the money.

    This is something i’ve always wanted to do, mainly for the same reaons as tm01….. I have some friends that have just come home from there after a 22 day safari i was envies the whole time they were there. I think if you are going the gorilla trek in the Congo is not to be missed!
    The pictures they came home with are awesome.

    There are a few of us that plan to climb Kilaminjaro next summer and the safari will be at the same time. I wonder if I could safari in Kenya instead of Tanzania.
