I just stuck with it and finished it. Pure willpower because I hated actually knitting it. But it turned out beautifully and I can’t wait to wear it once the weather turns cold. It’s a really heavy poncho so it will take some crisp cold weather for me to put it on.

I’m actually rather sick of this thing. I hate the yarn…it’s hard to knit…and I want it done. So I’ve vowed to do five rows a day until it’s done. Of course the interesting thing is that I tend to then do more rows. I’ll be so glad when it’s done.

See, truth is, I didn’t finish the shawl. I simply repurposed it and made it a scarf instead. However, I plan on starting a real shawl in the future so I might have to come back and readd this to my list of things to do. OH well… for now, I’m considering it done!

My yarn came while I was at my cousin’s house. I started using it last night. I completed another 3 or 4 rows while Bobby and I were playing a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles video game. I really should just start over from scratch with it though since I’ve made a lot of mistakes. Oh well. No one will really be able to tell when it’s done.

I’ve been knitting several shawls and they’re all very beautiful. I love them…

I started this shawl a few months ago and ran out of yarn. I searched high and low to find it and it was out of stock even on the webiste. Finally, it was available again and I ordered it. It should arrive tomorrow and I hope I ordered enough to finish my shawl. It’s a rather boring knitting project, but great to work on when babysitting and Bobby’s asleep. It doesn’t require any concentration. I have a feeling it’ll be done right about the time it gets warm outside. :)
