Get a Hanson tattoo

I think one of the best lyrics I’ve ever heard in a Hanson song is the chorus to “Great Divide”... For those who don’t know the song:

“I find hope and it gives me rest
I find hope in a beating chest
I find hope in what eyes don’t see
I find hope in your hate for me
Have no fear when the waters rise
We can conquer this great divide”

So I’d like to do something along those lines… Maybe a script or something. I’ll have to think about it long and hard… I’ve been wanting to get another tattoo and I think it’s time for the Hanson one. :)

I finally got to get my hanson tattoo on my 18th birthday yesterday =]

This is my first tattoo! Well, crazy beautiful is by far my favorite song Hanson but it does have more meaning to me than just that. I have finally realized that I’m crazy. But at this time in my life, I need to start realizing that I’m beautiful too!

I have ‘the music lives’ tattooed on my left foot, no need to explain it :) Its my third tattoo and by far my favourite!

So I was explaining the reason and it’s significance to my friend Drew and I think I explained myself very well about my tattoo. For all of thsoe who already know the background of it, this is just a quick re-cap, but for those of you who don’t, here’s the exact reason…

On Hanson’s last album ‘Underneath’ Yes I’m still obsessed with Hanson,get over it haha the headphones was like their mascot, it represented their new indie sound. There’s a saying a fan wrote about Hanson fans called “The Music Lives”, it gives me chills everytime I read it and it talks about how Hanson fans will never give up on them no matter how long they are out of the spotlight and my love for their music is never going to fade away, they will always be in my life no matter what. But I’ve always been looking for something that was musically inclined for me as a tattoo as well. All of my tats are symbols of what I like, what’s me, and the headphones and saying is perfect because, not only does it show my love for music, and ‘the music lives’ ,meaning it will be apart of me until the day I die, but I also took it from Hanson and their music which in a way helped me through my adolencent years and changed my life that shaped me into the great person I am today. So it’s always gonna be close to my heart.

It’s more than just a “Hanson Tattoo,” and you wouldn’t know it was unless I told you. The tattoo I got has a bunch of meanings, one just being part of a line in “A Song to Sing” that got me through my divorce.

It’s a four-leaf clover, losing a leaf (“Good-bye, four-leaf clovers…”) on my left ankle. Most definitely the favorite of my 8 tattoos, and the one that took the least amount of thought!!

I’ve always wanted a Hanson Tattoo as well, I have 12 other tattoo’s mainly on my arms, I was thinkin of the headphones as well on my right forarm and have it say
“I find hope in your hate for me” One of my most fav lyrics ever by them!

I’ll probally draw it up myself and get it soon, Ill post a pic when I do, Im new on this so yea!

Arrrr!! I want a Hanson Tattoo, I just need it designing, as I suck at drawing and suff. I want the headphones i think, maybe on my foot with the wire around my ankle, but id also like the logo somehwre!!

I need to go see the tattoo guy, but he’s scary and he might be mean to me!!

Hanson Rule!!

I got mine back in 2002 the day before I graduated high school. I still love it to this day but I want to touch it up and add color. I’m also working on another one… adding to a treble clef and 8th note i have on my shoulderblade
