Forgot to mention: St. Paul’s by the Sea, in Ocean City, has a labyrinth which is only open on Wednesdays, and only during certain months. :-(
How I did it: I always wanted to try and walk a labyrinth and then I found out that there's one a kilometer from where I was staying as a student, so I went there and walked it! It was free, too. Unfortunately, it was in winter, so the shrubs it was made of were not very nice.
Lessons & tips: Try looking up labyrinths near you on the internet.
If they are made of plants, make sure you don't go there in winter.
If there aren't any in your town, maybe there's one in your country that you could go to for a day's trip.

diosa Te amo, mas que ayer y menos que manana
I decided to just seize the moment and do it today! I went to an outdoor brick path labyrinth close to my house. It was calming and an altogether soothing experience with moment of emotional exposure. I’m going to count this goal as done but I know I will be walking other labyrinths in the future.

Ive found a bunch of labyrinths close to my area on the net and I have the afternoon free. Yet, my stomach feels full of butterflies and I am trying to think of excuses not to go. This goal is starting to make me nervous…not sure why.

I remember I did one with my dad when I was younger (in middle school? ‘00-’03?) and it took us FOREVER to figure it out, twice as long as the average. The fastest it took anyone for that particular maze was 15 minutes, and that was because it was a group of people working as a very effective (apparently) team. It’s certainly a good way to really get to spend some time with someone…it’s sort of like going on a road trip, only possibly more frustrating. Then again, if you’re not the type to be easily frustrated, it could be a good date or something like that.

Found that one of the churches near the Inlet in Ocean City has a labyrinth inside…

Wouldn’t you know, on the day that I got dismissed from my job, where there was a labyrinth on the roof? That was the day they closed the roof access for five weeks while they repair and landscape the green roof.

I recently discovered that the roof of my office building was extensively remodeled as a “green roof”...and while I haven’t been up there yet, I understand the centerpiece of the remodeling is a labyrinth.
Of course, doing so has caused it to rain rather extensively since then… :-) ...but I will be paying a visit sometime soon.
There is a slight problem with this. While there are numerous companies and organizations which share this building, I do not like my current job, and it concerns me some that I won’t be able to get into the proper mindset for walking the labyrinth in prayerful contemplation. Kind of like trying to have a moment of silent meditation while in the stands during the waning moments of a football game.
I’ve walked an actual version of this labyrinth at two different churches and online when I have the time. It has helped me to focus more clearly on my walk with the Lord, and I enjoy it’s visual style.
