How I did it: I went to Alabama (I'm 17) and got an inner lip tattoo that says 'wo ai ni.' With another tattoo on my shoulder, it was $100 together and it didn't hurt much at all.

One of my friends has an inner lip tattoo and it looks sooooo awesome! I went with her to get it done and she said it doesnt even really hurt that much. When we went she was already getting something else done so they just gave her the lip tat for free. I’m not sure what I want writtien on my lip though. So far I’m thinking either “read my lips” or just “peekaboo!” so when I show my brother he cracks up. I’m probably gonna get it in december when I go home on leave. I’m in Japan right now, and I dont really trust the tattoo places out here.

I really really really want an inner lip tattoo. I like the idea that I only have to show the people that I want to see it. I’ve never been tattooed before. Can anyone describe how much it hurts to get done?

i got ‘eph 4:29’ inside my lip..it’s a Bible verse from the book of ephesians. the verse is ‘i let no corrupt communication proceed from my mouth. only that which is good for necessary edification. that it may impart grace to the hearers’.
basically it’s all about not gossiping/swearing/lying…anyway..the tattoo took like 5-10 minutes and didn’t even hurt. i read a lot from other people who had gotten theirs done and said it hurt a lot..but it felt like biting the inside of my lip. it fades REALLY quick..within a few days. the ‘ph 4:’ is still visible on mine..the rest can’t really be seen..but i really liked it.

me and my mate flik first met at college and we said all the things we wanted to do and getting an inner lip tattoo was one of them she wanted a swear word and i wanted XXX coz it was cool and a guy in a band had it she got round to getting hers but ive not got mine yet.

i’m gettin my lip tattoo in 2 days!! woohoo…i really like that hidden tattoo…i know that i’ll need some touch ups but i’ll just pay for the first one…the touch ups are free cause the guy is my friend :D

She said she wouldnt reccomend nothing over 4 or 5 letters but i just seen the site where picks are posted,,,and people have more than that….So is it do-able?....
Is the cost for touch-ups just as exspensive as the original?
