Justification

I regularly give away a little bit of my check but never really thought about the percentage. Today, I was listening to a sermon that touched on it briefly and I realized that I give away less than 1%. I guess if I don’t plan it, I won’t actually do it. It seems like a huge chunk given my tiny income but I’m trusting God to bless it, and maybe I’ll be more careful with my leftover 90% as a result. None of its mine to begin with anyway.
Goal:
1) Build tithe into my budget.

It may seem counter intuitive, but money seems much less important if you give a good chuck of it away. It also makes you do a better job of working with the remaining 90%!

I consistently donate at least 10% and love doing it. Not only does it help the organization you believe in, but it also helps you to feel that in some small way, you’re helping change the world.
