I moved into my new place yesterday, loving it so far. Here’s to 364 more days of total independence!

I’m currently looking for a room to rent in a houseshare – I’ve been to view a few already, but none of them have looked like they could be home. I guess all I can do is carry on looking…
calypte productivity = satisfaction
I like living alone; I guess I’m a solitude-seeking kind of a girl.
I like that the space around me is all mine. I like that I bend only to my own timescales.
Living alone is a great experience for teaching you about yourself, and how to be happy in your own company. An experience well worth trying if you can in life, even if you don’t turn into the hermit type! :)
I’m retired. The family is gone, grown up or passed away. I have a 13 year old Black Labrador, but I think I still qualify for living alone.
I travel alot with great people, but at home it’s just me. I tend to be online too much. Watch too much CNN and MSNBC. It takes all day to get NOTHING done. Have started downloading music and movies. I read more than I used to which is great. I’ve knocked off about seven books in the last month and a half.
It gets pretty boring at times. Still, my time is my own. I work out a good bit and am in decent shape by my standards. Sleep when I want. Eat when and what I want.
Don’t have to work. Only answer to the fool in the mirror. It ain’t bad.
And I’m still officially living alone – although I spend most of my week at my boyfriend’s place.
The worst time to live alone is at night – because I barely watch TV and don’t have an internet connection, it can get pretty lonely. By and large it’s really good to have my own little space, though.
