    Crooked fingers 1 week ago

I never noticed until recently that my hands aren’t perfect. My right index finger crooks inward just a smidge. My pinkies are a bit short in my opinion. Even my fingernails are crooked on my fingers. And they’re so thin and unhealthy that I can literally read words through them. Lord knows I crack my knuckles a bit too much. My knuckles are baggy in the joints.

But I was born with these hands, and it’s just a bit excessive to think “geez, these suuure are ugly, let’s just chop em off and start over”. Nope, these are my hands and I’m not fixing them anytime soon. They’re just fine the way they are, because they’re mine. And I’m not perfect. Why should my hands be?

    Flawed world 3 weeks ago

This is going to be either a really simple task or a really hard one.

I’m getting better at acknowledging my flaws as well as the flaws of others. But sometimes it doesn’t stick, and I’d like to be able to always be accepting of others, and myself, flaws and all!

    Yup.
