I’ll admit, I didn’t know much about Autism. That is, until my son exhibited signs of it. I researched and researched and was not at all surprised when the doctor diagnosed my little boy with Autism Spectrum Disorder. He is the sweetest little boy in the world (and darn-near the cutest, too) but he is non-verbal, so it makes things interesting. Every day is a challenge, but we’re dealing as best we can. Sometimes I find the most difficult part is trying to get others to understand. It’s time to spread awareness of this growing disease!

This is a great goal that needs more people to join in. I’m a teacher and I deal with autistic children. My friend’s daughter has also been diagnosed as autistic and she is such a beautiful child that I hope we can cure this some day. My younger brother has autism. It’s a growing issue that a lot of people don’t know much about.
