My best friend is moving back home to Chicago to attend a pre-MFA program at the Chicago Institute of Art. While I’m devastated that she’s leaving, I’m excited that I’ll get to visit her in her hometown. I know our friendship can only benefit from this.
If the Windy City is good enough for her, it’s good enough for me!

Now that gas prices are down, seems like a decent idea! I’ve been all over the world, from Spain to Turkey to Japan, but have barely seen my very own nation. Apart from one trip to California, the furthest west I’ve been is Tennessee. While I’ve done the east coast from Maine to Florida, the gaping hole in between there and CA remains to be seen. I need to remedy this. I always wanted to pack a VW van with a few friends and go for it, and while that’s not exactly feasible at the moment, I hope to do some other smaller trips that will help me accomplish this goal.

My boyfriend and I are going to Las Vegas with friends in January!! I’m not into gambling but I’m looking forward to seeing this landmark and making a visit to the Hoover Dam (yeah, I’m a dork).
Wooot!

I’ve traveled abroad quite a bit for my age but I haven’t seen nearly enough of the country I live in! I hear it’s beautiful. I need to experience it.
