I’ve been working hard on this one. Some days I am not as good as others, but I finished my 3rd manuscript today, so I think I have succeeded! All I have is some minor tweaking and then I will be sending this book to my publisher. I feel mightily accomplished today. ::grin::

TaliaDragon has decided she has hysteria and needs to be cured :P
i know that this is the most reliable way to cure my complete lack of motivation when it comes to writing.
flying was helpful. I got a lot written. Now I just need a set-ish schedule for it.
It’s hard though, because of work. Maybe if anything comes up for my work goal, then my writing goal will be easier to achieve.
This summer I’ve read a number of writers on writing. All of them-whether they’re journalists, novelist, poets, or something else altogether-stress the importance of writing constantly and consistently. Many described the major roadblock that keeps me from constantly producing: I try to write things in my head and don’t like to put them on paper until they’re perfect. That’s no way to write. I certainly don’t have the memory for it.
So.
I need to write just to write. Fill up notebooks and legal pads and scrap paper. I know I’ll feel better once I just get it down. And from that, perhaps my perfect senior portfolio will arise.
