it’s nice to be able to make suggestions, but it’s not exactly ground breaking.

I knew the ideas area existed, but hadn’t really bothered to spend any time there until Barak invited me to join this goal.

I have now added a few ideas (well, agreed with others on a few existing ideas actually …) and invited someone else to do this too. I’ll also be heading back there to add a few more ideas to my list …

I think this goal is complete :)

I’d like to see the team page for a given team goal have more options: encouraging regular check-ins, selecting a group facilitator, setting group sub-goals, etc. Maybe even the punishments and rewards! (It’s been fun reading the punishments for the sleep team.)

This is to help us maximize our 43things time—to help us read the things we want to read and not waste our time searching for the things we want to read.

I think when you look at your subscriptions page and you see something there you’re not interested in (say, for example, you’re not interested in reading everyone’s entries about the Halloween party this weekend) you could indicate that you don’t want to read any more comments (from anyone) on that entry… and you would never see it again!

35. Allow to make “exact searches” in the “Search Box” (like 2 or more words in quotation marks)
36. Have an indication for the country the user comes from next to their City/Region name (How many people really know that Galilee is in Israel?)
37. Creating a “Recent activity from selected friends” in addition to “Recent activity from people you’re subscribed to” for users like me whom are subscribed to too many people.

3. Beg the Robots to implement a “fail” or “incomplete” option for our goals, so that we don’t have to delete them or lie about accomplishing them, and beg other 43T users to join me in lobbying for this option ASAP!! please?
4. Have a shared photo gallery at the top of every goal page

7. Show me who has recently cheered me
8. Bookmark people I’d like to keep track of

10. Add an option for goals that can never really be achieved totally, like “I’ve Done This and Still Doing It”

One of my favourite things about 43 Things is the subtlety. Exploration is rewarded. It’s neat how things are developing and new features and ideas work their way into the community. I found ideas.43things.com and it’s another place to share ideas for things that 43 Things could have. I think that I’ll still email some ideas, but having ideas collected together in one place is a good idea as well.
