How I did it: I wanted to go darker because i was sick of being a fake blonde and having roots. it was quiet a dramatic change because i had to go alot darker to wash out the blonde. it was almost black and i hardly reconised myslef i went home and cried for like 2 hours but i like it now :) Lessons & tips: get it dyed professionally at a hair salon its hard to fet right using at home dyes and if your hair is already coloured it wont come out the same colour as the the box. |

How I did it: You walk into Sally's and you head for the temporary dye section. Yes temporary. If you're new to this you want to have some room to make mistakes and if you're not new to this...uh, stick to temporary anyway. My cousin like permanent and she wanted brown underneath blonde...and she came back from the salon looking like a zebra. Wish I could find permanent rainbow-ish hair dye! That would rock! The only ‘not normal’ color that is so post to be permanent is pink. :( Oh well.

i want to dye my hair a wicked color like purple or hot neon pink..that would be sweet. but..”no” my friends and family say i can’t becuase my hair is already a unique color of red.
Okay, I felt like being bold, so I had my sister dye part of my hair purple. It didn’t turn out the way I wanted, so to cover UP the purple, I went black. Which I absolutely love! It makes me feel perfectly edgy. ;)
My friend who was going to help me isn’t around at the moment. I’m not sure whether to risk asking my chap to help. I’d really like it done before my birthday which is in a few weeks.
I’ve never done this before! I’ve lived with my natural color for 20 years. It’s about time I spice things up. :)
