I’ve been drawing all week. I discovered a blog and book by a guy called danny gregory and it’s ace! The book is the Creative License and the blog is www.dannygregory.com. Check them out!
If I’m still drawing daily in a months time then I’m gonna call this goal Done!

catdonmit is kind of addicted.
Really, I took art classes every year in middle school and ended up being good at it. I continued with it in high school and don’t know why I stopped. I love looking back at all of my old stuff. I’ll have to take some pictures of it all and post them on Flickr, because it’s stuff I can be proud of. I’d love to own every color of oil paints, water colors, acrylic paints, etc., and have the time to do one painting every weekend.
Maybe when I get my own place I’ll have the time and patience to work on some. I say that a lot – “I’ll do it when I get my own place.” Hmm…there’s a new goal.
Alice is hoping to make some changes
It seems I’ll only go and do something if there really is a need…This week I’m leaving my boyfriend and moving to the north for a new job. I decided to do an aboriginal style painting as a leaving present for him. Will post up a pic when it’s finished! The first painting i’ve done in almost 5 years I think.
A year ago, I was doing it all the time. Now my time’s spent on other things, but I’d like to do this again.
I bought a new sketch pad and pencils. Next, I just need to find some free time!
I used to draw and paint all the time – 10 years ago. Then my life got very busy and I lost my drawing time to other needs. How can I find the time to start again?
Yeah, I want to do more, too- I have been lately- but it is kind of like writing, I guess- you need to be inspired, and it is terrible when you have artist’s block… I need to create to feel alive!!!!!!!

I loved it…I had so much fun

so….last night my husband and I were driving someplace (to get new hiking boots for our vacation next month we are climbing Mt Lassen) I had my sketchbook with me and was working on a new drawing …. Mark, looked over and said he couldn’t remember the last time that he had seen me drawing and that it made it really happy, that he liked watching me draw because when I was drawing I glowed
I had forgotten how much I really love this
