Diego (my husband) has unofficially enrolled himself in this program. Because the exercises are pretty hard, I have been doing them with him, to help cheer him along. After 3 weeks of exercises (none of which I have actually been able to complete the whole way), I am already seeing a difference. I have gone from 5 to 8 pushups. And my abs are definitely improving.

Highly recommend it. It’s completely free and requires very little stuff – mostly just your arms and legs!

Gosh. I’m so muscular nearly everywhere else. But you go to my mid-section and it looks like I’m pregnant. I’m going to be doing situps a lot!!

I went to the physiotherapist the other day and he told me this tip: holding in your belly actually works a core muscle deep in your lower back called the transverse abdominis.

It’s really hard to isolate that lower muscle but I can see why it is so important. Try pulling your stomach in and bringing your belly button down to your back without flexing your sixpack.
