Chicago-area performer who has been around for a few years. Robbiefulks.com.
Tried to make a go of it in Nashville several years ago and got sick of the whole scene, prompting him to write the classic “F—K this town!”. Some of his other great songs include “Parallel Bars” about a fueding couple who go to blow off some steam but live in such a small town there are only two bars and they can see each other from the other side of the street.
Also “The Buck Starts Here” a great tribute song to Buck Owens; “Rock Bottom, Population 1,” “Tears only run one way,” “Let’s live together” and “She took a lot of pills (and died)”.
Well worth checking out, especially if you are a fan of singers like Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, Roger Miller, Buck Owens, Hank Sr., Jr. and III or any other good song writer with a mischevious streak.
