How to Have a Quiet Time 3 years ago

1. Make a commitment to observe a Daily Quiet Time
2. Develop a plan for observing your Daily Quiet Time
3. Realize that some Quiet Times will be more meaningful than others. Don’t expect every Quiet Time to be a spiritual high.
4. One thing you must do if your Quiet Time is to succeed … keep on keeping on!

Goos things to do:
Count down from 10 to one, taking a deep breath with each number. Read affirmations, inspiring quotes or poetry. Read a couple of pages of a book. Put your hands over your eyes and visualize a favorite vacation spot. Gaze out a window. Listen to your favorite music. Stand up and stretch your muscles. Drink a full glass of water. Eat a healthy snack. Take a short walk. Practice a relaxation technique or breathing exercises regularly. Have some tea.

It’s awesome to save some special time for yourself, to think about your life, feel the world, watch the beauty of nature, feel calm and feel peace.
