I’ve been thinking about this for awhile now…I’m definitely living, but want to live more. As in no 40-hour work week for me. Trying to figure out how to make this happen is the challenging part. I’ve read the Four Hour Work Week, and have thought of several muse ideas. But is there enough demand? I won’t know until I test each muse and see. If anyone knows of business models that could be replicated which would result in a comfortable living while not being chained to a desk, I’d like to hear from you. I just don’t want to lose my shirt in the process of trying to get something off the ground.

VACATION WEEK
Went on vacation with family for whole week to Seattle. Did not think of work at all.
Took pretty pictures of Mt. Rainier as well :)

This week I’m going to work only 40 hours and plan my time.

I quit one of my jobs this week. I’m so excited to be able to make plans and do something for myself besides working. And I’m about to get a raise at my other job. I’m so happy!

This is going to be a difficult task for me. I work two jobs and about 65 hours (at minimum) a week. Working interferes with my life a lot, but I work in a town where there’s a lot to do in summer, and not so much in the winter. I’m saving up for the winter, but I need to learn how say no when people beg me to take their shifts and stuff like that. I would love to be able to relax a little during my summer and enjoy myself, maybe work on some of my other goals.

Kate L. got her invitation to join the Peace Corps
But since I enjoy my work, I do not feel like I’m “living less.” So I’m taking this off my list until I need it.
