finish the scarf i'm making

Its wonky, its ugly and I don’t see myself or anyone else wearing it. But god damn it, I’m going to finish it.

i thought that with the discovery of Macgyver on netflix instant watch that i’d be able to get more progress made on my scarf. unfortunately, i was wrong. i had hoped that i’d sit there and watch Macgyver and knit my scarf but apparently, i just can’t look away… he’s too cool! i think maybe that if i had smaller needles that might help, b/c those huge needles i have to make a small scarf get heavy… well, at least i made a bit of progress, 10 lines but still more than nothin!

one week ago, i wrote an entry about working harder to finish my scarf, but i haven’t even touched it! :( at least i’ve been productive on a few of my other goals!

and counting. i started knitting a scarf last winter and it’s still not done! after i get back in town next week, i’m going to work harder to get it finished and have my roommate show me how to cast off.

I would like to finish it just to finish it because it’s just taking up room and making me feel not-so-good about myself!

It took me about 4 years, but I finally learned how to bind off so Joshua wouldn’t have to walk around with knitting needles poking out from under his hoodie.

I just bought some great local alpaca and llama yarn that I really want to make into a scarf…so maybe that will force me to finish the other one before I start this one.

I’m beginning to wonder if this is ever going to happen. And do I want it to happen? Well, yes, but I don’t feel like getting around to it anytime soon.
