The movie is “Interstate 60” – and I’ve ordered it from Amazon!!
This is really a great, quirky movie and I can’t wait to watch it again and have my hubby watch too.
Thank you Internet Critic!!

I have been searching the internet for months to no avail. I even called the old blockbuster where I rented this and they said after 3 months of inactivity – my records were no longer there to see what movies I rented! Darn! I know someone somewhere has seent this movie – if so I need a title! It was on their “Singular Sensation” Rack – where they put the “B” movies, Independant films, and those with new actors who aren’t well known…
Here’s the synopsis, that I believe to be correct or something loosely like this….If you have seen it and know what this movie is – please please respond!
I posted this on a website where they try to help find movies..it can take months and months however, before they ever figure it out…
“I rented this movie somewhere between 1999 and 2004, an American film. Rented from BlockBuster. It was either independant or just a “B-” movie. I cannot remember the title or actors (they were unknowns).
The plot was this:
A young guy loses his job or is starting a new job and gets in his car (convertible?) and takes a road trip – drives across country or drive to another state for the new job. Along the way he meets a mysterious man (the devil?) and all these weird characters..and has to go on this goose-chase of sorts, solving riddles, getting out of jams, dealing with crazy dilemmas.
It’s a combo mystery/comedy/thriller….He winds up on some old Route/highway (666? OR 66? not sure if that’s correct) during this journey and at the end, he wakes up in his car, as the cops come up to him (he did something illegal for this mystery man/devil..to stay alive?) and the movie implies at this point that this highway never existed, and it makes you-along with the main character guy-wonder if any of it ever happened or if it was all a dream. I think the cover of the video had a picture of the guy in his car, with one of those state Route signs….That’s all i can remember for the life of me.
HELP!!!!
