How to make a Flash animation by Arlene Tan

How I did it: Well it was actually part of the curriculum for my Senior Projects class at Siatech Highschool in San Diego, CA. So after trying to learn flash on my own and learning flash in a classroom environment I would have to say that I highly recommend that you try to find even a basic class if you really want to do this (or anything involving using high level programs like this.) Sure you can learn on your own but the odds are that your going to spend a lot of time trying to figure out something someone has already figured out (when they could simply show you how to do) and that usually gets us humans frustrated. Save yourself some time and a piece of mind and take a class on it.

Lessons & tips: There is several little tips and tricks that will help you navigate the program online and in several books, even the help menu that comes with the program is a wonderful resource.

    a recurring desire of mine. Flash animation seems to fit my mindset quite well – a bizarre sense of humour and little to no drawing skill. I’ve had some brief experience with stopmotion animation so I feel somewhat prepared :D
