wooleyduck is planning for a lot of change in 2009.
I’ve been much better about this lately. I still feel like I don’t reach out as often as I should even though I think of everybody all the time but I hope I’m making progress.
How I did it: I found that the best way to do this is to just keep track of when I call or message or whatever. That way I can tell if it's been a while or not. Calling on specific days didn't work and I feel like that would defeat the point anyway. I don't have a good sense of time at all and weeks can go by without me realizing it so keeping track helped immensely. I have some software called MyLife Organized (I think that's the name) which is free and I've been doing much better about a lot of stuff by using it to keep track of goals and make to do lists.
Lessons & tips: Do it! It's important! Your friends won't know how awesome you think they are if you never bother to contact them.

Why do I suck so hard at being a good friend/sister?

I haven’t been doing this and I feel like crap because of it. I hate neglecting my friends and family. I just get so caught up in my own head whenever things get the slightest bit tough or hectic and I can’t seem to deal with important things like communication.
This is an extremely important goal to me and I need to treat it as such.

I’m also including family in this.

Sagittaria asks,
“I just don't do it, even though I love my friends. I just think about them, but never really lift the phone to call. Why? Anyone with a similar experience?”
