I just want to be healthier. I eat a ton of junk food. I am always tired from it too. I also want to find a way to remember this! I never remember until it is too late. Ugh, when my family fasts, I can never do it, I get too hungry =( it is really sad 4 years ago
I did it last week. I finally stopped eating about 10 candies in the breakfast. I think it’s worth it because if you check every news about it you’ll see the high level of people with diabetes and the bypass cirurgy. And obviously, you lose weight.

We fast the first Sunday of every month, and it sure helps you listen to your body and your body’s needs. I found today that after breaking my fast with dinner, the sweetest thing that sounded good to me was trail mix, which does have m&m’s but is a far cry from the straight halloween candy or refrigerated cookie dough I’ve been consuming for weeks!! Hopefully I can keep myself to no more sugar than that, then at least I’ll be eating some protein and dried fruits into the sweetness of the chocolate! 6 years ago
It has been at least 3 months since I cut way back on my sugar intake and man, what a difference it makes.
Sugar just makes you want more sugar. I am now perfectly happy eating things like fruit and yogurt instead of cookie and cakey things.
Don’t get me wrong, I love a little sweet something once in a while, but it is now a treat that I indulge in every week or two instead of every day!
I firmly believe that reducing my sugar intake is the biggest contributor to my recent weight loss. 7 years ago
I have been doing the south beach diet for almost 2 weeks now and I have had NO sugary foods at all since I started. The thing that amazes me is that I am not having any cravings for it. I think I am well on my way to accomplishing this goal. We’ll see how things go on Phase 2 of the diet. 7 years ago
