Now that I finally have my SLR.. I am realising how much I dont know about Photography. Need to find a way of learning more technical stuff about it. Besides I know I’ve wanted to do this all along. It was either a course in Photography or Psychology. Right now Photography wins.

calypte going to amsterdam! :)
I spent part of yesterday with my sm, who I know is big into photography (and waaaay better at it than me!), and we stopped at one point to look at a small photo exhibit.
“When I’m done with all this IT stuff, I’d quite like to do a photography class. Not for a qualification or anything!” It slipped out – usually I would have avoided stepping on the toes of certain people’s hobbies.
“That’s a great idea!” she enthused, much to my surprise.
Tentatively: “Would you want to come with me?”
“Yes!”
Wow.
I’m in two minds about making post-degree plans. They’re too far away, and dangerously shiny-attractive, when I have java, databases, and other things in the way first. Still. On the other hand, it’s nice – and a tad scary! – to think of how life might be without all this studying. And it was a surprising bonding moment, too!
