How I did it: I bought ice-skates at a fleamarket and had lots of patience... It was a long time until there was a harsh enough winter for good ice to form. Lessons & tips: Don't be afraid to fall. Ice is hard, but you're more likely to fall when you're too careful. Always wear gloves or mittens and a hat though, they will protect you. Resources: When I was little, there used to be ice almost every winter, so I learned to skate from my parents. |

How I did it: I went on a trip to the philippines with my mom in january this year. we visited the mall of asia with some of my relatives. The happened to have an ice skating rink inside the mall and so i had convinced my mom to let me go ice skating. Since afterall, we WERE on a vacation. So why not try somthing fun, new and exciting? Very, very happy!
How I did it: Me and my family lives close to a small sea that's frozen in the winter, so one day we just walked to it with our ice skates and started skating... It was great!! now I know how to spin around and go backwards and some other stuff like that! I'm really proud of myself xPI really, really recommend this activity for everyone! Read how I did it…

My husband and I spent Christmas in Philadelphia in 2007 and had planned to go but it didn’t work out….we may spend Christmas in NYC this year and we are DEFINITELY going to try it….I so want to do this because I roller blade so well….I understand that it’s totally not the same lol, but it should be an experience!

The best thing about winter in Boulder is the adorable outdoor ice rank that is set up at Pearl Street. It’s little, and there is often crazy little kids going ape shit on it, but it can be quiet romantic at night to go skate with a boy. Plus they play cheesy Christmas music, its great.

Finally a decent winter! It’s been freezing for almost two weeks now and many ponds and small lakes have become solid.
I’ve bought some old ice-skates on a fleamarket and have already spent a couple of hours having a blast on the ice with friends. Pity that it’s been snowing now. It’s made skating a bit difficult, but the city is looking very nostalgic and I’m enjoying that too.

Now I’ve been ice-skating for three days in a row! It’s really funny! :D I’ve been ice skating with my familly twice and with friends twice. I really recommend this for everyone!!
