achieve the following things in the next 20 years:

dont kno why, but have always wanted to help orphans, especially Chinese. the children are so beautiful and with a little encouragement and help, could do anything.

But i always wonder, why do i want to help chinese orphans so much? why not orphans in my own country…is that strange, shouldnt home be the first place to sort out?

Anyway i still want to work in an orphanage in china.

my partner’s dad is staying with us at the moment, he heard us talking about “our house in the country” & asked me what my mustavs are, you know, “must have’s”!!.....it turns out i have quite a list and thought i had better write them down & what better place than here @ 43 things!

self-sufficeinet power, possibly make the house 12V, not too sure bout this thou(fridge?), But I do kno I hate paying power bills, & want to be friendlier to the planet.
Have huge underground water tanks so I can collect rainwater from roof & dont need town water at all
Media room, wif projecter, possibily underground as dont need windows
hidden wine cellar, ive seen one behind a huge bookcase, sooo cool!
Single level, no carting vaccuum cleaner upstairs
in wall vaccum cleaner as dont want to cart it at all!

i dont know why, but it seems that the countryside is where everyone wants to be, especially me! ive always been a city gal, really enjoy the sounds and movement, but something is calling me to get that small peice of “quiet”. even if we have to live in a shack for a few years, (which is most likely)my partner and i are determined to become “lifestylers’ We hope to buy a peice of land in the next 3 years, but if we find the perfect one, we will do whatever it takes to own it.
We just heard a whisper that a friend of his family is thinking about selling a chunk of land – and its just where we want to be, and it has its own stream, and i think a little bis of native bush, and a view…perfect! I just dont want to see it incase we have to have it!!!!
I guess the building part will take a while, but as i said, most probably will bhave to live in a garage for a few years!
