get a new dog...

We lost our older dog in July, and I thought it would take me awhile to be willing to get another one. However, we started looking at listings in Craig’s List and began checking shelter and dog rescue websites and we found “Chelsea,” a beautiful black retriever/Chow mix. She’s two years old and getting along beautifully with our other dog, a golden retriever. I’m glad we found her and that she let us adopt her!

I already have a pug called Frankie and he’s my whole world but I want him to have some company as we spend hours waiting around fields and parks for other dogs to turn up for him to play with.I can’t decide what kind of dog to go for, I want another pug but my boyfriend would like a bulldog!I don’t think the bulldog would be as active as Frankie and that would throw my routine into chaos!I’m conflicted!

i have 4 dogs already but not technally MINE so i would want a cute mini oneee!

i had to give up my last dog a jack russle called Oska cause i was working to much but im going to get a boyfriend so i can get a new dog the boyfriend can sleep outsode in the kennel lol then he can look after her when im at work o yea i want a bitch and im going to call her Charity

I grew up in the company of a headstrong, wonderful corgi male. He passed away too soon when I went to college.Later we got two more corgi’s, a fat adorable female and a smart, slightly neurotic male.Since I am “dogless” I have been graced by a now 2 year old daugther whom I am crazy in love with. She is the sun, the moon and the stars to me. However, I miss having a dog. I really do. As soon as my girl will be going to school fulltime, I would like to find myself a new furry friend … My husband wants to wait though …

We lost our dear, dear pet Jack last week. He was a beloved black miniature schnauzer and a week ago right now he escaped from the yard and got run over by a car.

I was at work very late (as I am now) and wasn’t home—that’s probably why he escaped, because he was lonely.

My kids are devastated, as am I.

Is it too soon to even consider getting a new dog?

I had to put my dog to sleep this past summer, which was such a hard thing to do. I still miss the little guy so much. I know that eventually I’ll get a new dog, but it’ll be awhile I think.
