I’m not particularly good at it, but I got the job done.

I had planned to take a class or something, but I’m pretty much just experimenting and teaching myself because I need to silkscreen my Christmas presents and I have less than a week to finish all those damn scarves.
So I got my former art teacher to explain the photo emulsion process to me in full and explicit detail, and am drying my screen as I type. After choir tonight I will be exposing my screen, and hopefully tomorrow I can get my paints from Sarah and start screening! yay.
So it ends up that my boyfriend has the materials (screen, squeege, etc.) to do this. Now the hard part: finding a design that we both like enough to reproduce. I want to do this in the next two weeks (before school starts).
amybeth is going to be the next Canadian dracula.
you’ll be surprised how messy it is & how great the results are. Crisp clear lines, it’s wonderful.
madamwitty is waaay too busy for 43T lately
I took a silkscreening class in college. It was fun and pretty easy, if you have the right equipment. I made personalized t-shirts as holiday gifts for everyone in my family. They loved ‘em!
