I brought out my black boots. They’re not the Docs I once wore and loved, but they’re perfect for travelling incognito. They warm my heart, in a kind of kickass way. I’m going to be a wandering black-booted warm-hearted incognito Valentine this year.

are key, but not vintage or trendy ones. You don’t want to walk around all Roy Orbison or anything. You get a pair of good, solid all-around basic sunglasses, and a beaten-up leather jacket. And black boots. You can travel the world like a snowflake: leaving a mark but not a stain.
