How I did it: I got my Holga 120CFN when the White Stripes released their custom Holga and Diana+ cameras in 2007. It was my first film camera.My first couple rolls of film honestly sucked. But I have used my Holga loads since, and feel that I have drastically improved. I’m so slow! I got my holga Nov. last year. I haven’t even taken any photos with it. I love it anyways though. :D

My boyfriend got me one for my birthday, including a selection of film and filters and a manual he made himself. It’s deffinatly the best camera I own now, I love it!

This coming friday i’m finally ordering my holga. cheers i don’t have the money for the maniac pack so i’m just getting the starter. I’m also ordering the 35mm adapter. I’m so excited. My mother is paying for it as a late birthday present. (I turned 19 on August 30th, and she hasn’t gotten anything for me yet.)

I got myself a Holga 120FN instead. The CFN was rendered worhtless by many and its colorflash was considered useless since the pictures don’t appear as tinted.
I still can’t judge on its performance since I haven’t had my first roll developed yet.

I saw one at a shop for Php 2,500 or $56. I could always order online (where it’s cheaper) but I don’t have a credit card yet.
And what’s the difference between a glass lens and a plastic lens when it comes to shots?

I quit my job and had to use my holga money for things I need day-to-day. I just got a new job at a tanning salon, so as soon as I get my paychecks i’m going to start putting some money in the ‘holga bank’. I also have to pay my mother back for the cruise were taking in November. So getting this camera is going to be harder than I thought. :[ Plus, Take longer.

I’ve decided to not purchase the plain holga. I’m saving up some extra money so I can go ahead and get the holga ‘maniac’ pack. Due to the fact i’ll probably end up spending double if I put each thing separate. It’s well worth the wait, i’ll have tons of filters, lens and other stuff to play with when I get the pack. I’m rather excited. So close to getting it. :D! (holga ‘maniac’ pack in the photo.)
