Living In God's Exquisite, Miraculous Sufficiency hasn't had time to be on 43T. Been busy with life.
I took 2 semesters of Chinese Calligraphy in college. It was very beautiful and some amount of work. I wonder how I would do now at it.

...which aren’t many. It’s a huge skill that takes years of practicing to do well. I’ll mark this as “done” when I finish classes with my teacher.
I didn’t learn much. I was told that to get good at Chinese calligraphy all you can do is practice and practice until your wrists and fingers are bleeding. So, I guess I’ve learned Chinese calligraphy, now all I need to do is try for hours on end to be able to do it.
I just met a lady on the bus today who studied and practiced Chinese calligraphy since she was six years old and she said that she would teach me if I help her speak English! I’m so excited!
Found these 2 interesting pages:
http://www.chinapage.com/calligraphy.html (about Appreciation of The Art of Chinese Calligraphy) and
http://www.harrys-stuff.com/hong-kong/pawn-ticket.php (about Hong Kong in the 1950s)
cool!
i’ve been doing Chinese calligraphy since the 4th grade. unfortunately, i had to stop after i got into college cuz there’s just too much going on. i wish i could pick it up again and write all i want. =D
Writing chinese characters is so relaxing…
A good website to learn:

I’ve been learning for about two years now and, while my characters aren’t ugly, they’re not great either. Oh well! I really want to learn wormy seal script… that’s next.
