I gave away my passive wardrobe (which turned out to be about half of what I owned) to sisters, friends, and charity. I found some things that I’d forgotten about, but still like. From that I learned that if you buy something new, donate something old, otherwise it just gets piled up.
Books were hard, I only gave up a few bad novels. I dunno, I guess I should let some more go, but I really do read them often.
Next up is the kitchen gear.

The move is the catalyst, but the idea is sound. Time to donate all but the clothes I need, throw out cheap shoes that just cut my feet, and give away other things that I’m just not feelin’. Ever since I learned to travel with just a carry on (which is now sort of shot I guess) I’ve embrace the pared down existance. And with a move across the Atlantic, there’s never been a better time. Layers and classic cuts only!
