learn how to play the electric guitar

i can already play the alto sax (but i have to cuz im in the school band) anyway im not gonna get my guitar til christmas all i know is that its gonna be a fender (i wanted a gibson =( )

I really want to learn how to play at least one musical instrument.

I give up! And the reason for it is very banal: I don’t have long fingernails to begin with, but to be able to play I have to cut them even more and I can’t stand the feeling of that….

• I’ve already started learning some chords. (C,D,A,G,E Mayor and A and E Minor). :D
  (My boyfriend is teaching me and I’ve got a book about it.)
• Bought an electric guitar and Amp.
• Practicing “Knocking on Heaven’s Door”

It’s so much fun, I have to watch out that I don’t play too much. I’ve already had blisters on my right thump (I was too lazy to look for a plec), index and middle finger (from practicing “Smoke on the Water” for two hours and annoying my family…).

I hope this doesn’t keep me from learning in the future. Up to now everything looks fine.

I can’t play it at all but it sounds fun.
