Their portability makes them easy to take along anywhere – usually I grab one before jumping into the car and much on my trip.

Apples contain Vitamin C and antioxidants, which may reduce the risk of cancer by preventing DNA damage.
The contain fibre. Apples have less fibre than other fruits, but it’s fibre nonetheless. Besides regulating bowel movements, fibre helps reduce the risk of colon cancer.
Since apples are bulky for thier caloric content, they are a great choice for those seeking to lose or maintain weight.

The sweet tart taste of Granny Smith Apples is fantastic!
I need to work more on this especially as I have the feeling that lacking vitamins might have to do something with feeling tired all the time. So apples and veggies need to creep in my diet again. Should be easier now that spring is here.
Starting off badly this week – and all for a lame excuse of not going to the supermarket to get apples for the week (from Saturday to now, Wednesday) .. major oops!
So far this week – from the weekend, I have been doing great on this goal. One whole apple per day – I’ve brought one to work each day since Monday for my afternoon snack. And freshly blended apple juice (red or green, no sugar) in the morning and/or night.
I hope to keep this up since for whatever reason I feel great – I’m not putting too much faith in these 3 apples per day – for weight loss, health, whatever though. Once I do this consistently for a few weeks it should start becoming a habit.
I want do this for one month, then I will consider it done.
