catch up with old friends

i miss my high school friends, and i really want to know where they are in life now a days. i hear that shes got a baby or hes married. i’d like to know how everyone is and what their plans are. i’d like them to know that i’m doing good too and that i’ve got my head on straight.. engaged and about to graduate college. i miss my best friends!

I created a Facebook account months ago, then deleted it minutes later. I was intimidated by other classmates that were a little more successful and I felt like I didn’t accomplish much compared to them. Over the weekend, I felt a little nostalgic, so I reactivated my account. I could not believe how many of my high school, college and military friends have Facebook pages! I feel connected again! :)

I felt a little nostalgic last night and decided to Google some old friends. I found the girl who was my “big brother” in my organization 15 years ago and the girl who was my “little brother”! I emailed another friend who I located four years ago after losing touch for 8 years! I can’t believe he’s a pastor now!!! He’s a great guy. I hope he writes back…He did! He even invited me to his church!

I bought some cards and going to send some out today.

Been catching up with friends that I haven’t seen in years. Randomly getting messages on facebook from primary school/high school friends that result in a face to face meeting is a lot of fun!

I received a letter from one of my best friends from Primary School. It was so good to hear from her! But I’m disappointed that she beat me to it. I’ve been meaning to send her a letter, but I never got around to it. I felt really guilty, and wrote a letter back as soon as I got hers.
Hopefully she gets it soon and we will be able to keep in touch. On the last day of Primary School, she wrote me a letter. We promised to write to each other at least once a month. We haven’t done that. But at the time, we didn’t realise that we wouldn’t have as much time as we thought we would whilst being at High School.
Anyway, it was good to hear from her, and I’m glad we can still keep in touch! =]

Caught up with some old friends last night, it was really fun!

I have been able to keep in touch with most of my friends from primary school over msn and via letters, but my friends are not something that I myself, or anyone can afford to lose. I want to catch up with them again and see how they are doing.

I messaged about 20 old friends on Facebook today. It’s hard though, I’m just too busy to catch up with people.

I’ve caught up with one of my closest friends a couple of months ago. We’ve been friends since the 3rd grade! It was her birthday and I gave her a surprise phone call. I haven’t talked to her in years.

Next week, I’m planning a girls’ night out with one of my old military friends and hopefully a couple other girls that I’m cool with online that I’ve never met in person. I’m really excited about it!
