BambooSpirit is trying to find at least 43 things I WANT to do in my life!
I want to walk more—if I walk the dogs we tend to stop to sniff and it takes a long time and doesn’t really count as exercise.
So:
1) I want to train the doggies to walk to ‘heel’and stop freaking out every time we pass other dogs.
2) I want to walk on the treadmill on days like this when it’s raining and the doggies don’t want to go out.

Since one of my other goals is to stop watching tv and it’s an addiction of mine, I’m thinking that every time I get the urge to watch something I should go for a walk, no matter how short. Replace one behavior with another.

jansu after two weeks away, feel like a new start!
Yesterday went for a very long walk along the beach. My aching “baby cow” muscles(lol @ G) today feel good and strong. Also the calm I felt as I walked along reminded me of all the benefits of walking more regularly. Rested today – tomorrow I will walk.

jansu after two weeks away, feel like a new start!
for about an hour plus. It’s surprising how just a few weeks of not doing so, can set your fitness level back again! Right now I am aiming that every other day I will walk for about an hour or so. Well we’ll see how I go.

I wasn’t going to tick off this goal until I proved I would continue doing it even when I had a car. I have a car now and am still walking a majority of the time. The car only comes out when time/distance is an issue. Always feel so much better after some fresh air as well.
