I’m 14, and I’m trying to get my parents to buy a hot tub. My mom says she wants to get the house re painted before we get a hot tub.
I know which one I want and everything. I want the Nordic Escape Premium. It’s $5,000.
I figure I’ll try talking my parents into getting one in the early summer. When’s a good time for getting a hot tub installed? Is May alright? The sooner the better I say.

I bought my first tub about 12 years ago and replaced it with a similar one recently. I have a softub and love it. How often I use depends on who else is interested. I built a patio and fence around it for privacy which is nice.

mejaka is on the preferred substitute list--for Project. Weird.
check out X-Spas. (Google—you’ll find them). They’re fairly small, but they’re cheap, portable, run on 110 power, don’t have a heating coil (the first thing that usually fails on a hot tub, because of corrosion), and they’re all one piece. Only one surface material to clean.
I love mine. I hauled potted shrubbery for 12 weeks at a big-box hardware store for it, and it was worth every sore muscle!

at our old house and sold it with the house. I miss it soooo much. We used to have great talks in there – dreaming and making plans. It was wonderful. We designed our new house so we could have a hot tub on a patio right off the master bedroom…

Well, the cost for the tub and all the electrical and foundation work would prob’ly be at least five grand. I really want to get one but it just isn’t in the budget right now, and if we do get a hot tub we’re going to have to actually plan the backyard a little – our backyard is just an expanse of grass; there’s so much you could do with it.
