have beautiful 4 month old baby boy and take him out for walks which have got longer and longer – am now challenging myself to 10 miles a day – keeps us both happy and healthy.

I will be walking 10 miles down to a beach in guam and back up…see how long it takes
I’ve lost around 30lbs and have wanted to keep the weight off while eating what I want, but how?
The answer of course is excersize. So I started walking…. everywhere. I make sure that in 1 day I walk at least 10 miles, averaging somewhere around 12miles/day. Right now I weigh 145 pounds which gives me a Metabolic rate of ~1700 cal/day. BUT if I walk, I add around 1100 to that, bringing my total daily calories I can eat without gaining weight to 2800.
How You can do this:
Honestly all I do is have a music mix that lasts for at least an hour, and just walk at a brisk pace while listening to it. My current speed is ~ 4 miles/hr so in 2.5 hrs I’m done. Think about that, just 2.5 or about 10% of your day…. not a lot for a good cause, and its doesn’t matter if you do it all at once or in 10 15-minute sessions. Makes no difference.
After doing this for about 2 weeks consistently, you wont even feel like youre excersising…. in fact if you dont walk you’ll feel irratable and will end up doing it anyway, just to get that ‘feel good’ sensation.

Today is day 16 in my own personal challenge of 10 miles of walking a day. It’s almost dinner time and I’ve already walked 11 miles. Today has been a good day! Hopefully I end the day off with 12 or 13. I’m feeling better and not nearly as tired as I used to be.
