Tio D. working to end Huntington disease#17 is a 434 yard par 4 which was in my sights today
but it was raining heavily. The drive was 238 yards, quite good considering there was almost no roll as the grass was so wet.
From 196 yards, the 5-wood was used for the second shot and the ball ended up beside the right front corner of the green only a few feet off the putting surface. So the shot travelled close to 185 yards.
The third shot wasn’t hard enough so I hit again (took a mulligan) since I was all alone and put it within 6 feet; then rushed a putt without taking out the pin because it was still raining heavily.
Bottom line from today’s play was that it showed that par is very possible on 17. And a birdie is very possible with a second shot landing on the green with the right pin placement. 6 years ago
