From 196 yards, the 5-wood was used for the second shot and the ball ended up beside the right front corner of the green only a few feet off the putting surface. So the shot travelled close to 185 yards.

The third shot wasn’t hard enough so I hit again (took a mulligan) since I was all alone and put it within 6 feet; then rushed a putt without taking out the pin because it was still raining heavily.

Bottom line from today’s play was that it showed that par is very possible on 17. And a birdie is very possible with a second shot landing on the green with the right pin placement. 6 years ago

I have a few recent scorecards and par has been recorded on holes:
1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16 and 18.

By my reckoning, #4 and 17 are outstanding.

I need some proof for hole 17; would have sworn that par has been recorded there once. It is the toughest hole on the course under the men’s handicap scheme. 6 years ago
