Move houses

Got my new gaff last week… still not finished unpacking and planning to do lotsa painting and stuff, but it’s great to finally have my new place:-)

I’m flying over on Sunday, and even though I won’t get my permanent apartment just yet, I’ll still live in a way nicer place than my current one in the meantime:-)

I need to ring/email landlords to make appointments for when I’ll be in Belgium… Boring, but needs to be done!!!

I’m gonna get a new gaff in the spring but that’ll be in… Belgium!!! This time I’ll get a proper nice gaff (and probably buy half of Ikea’s to fit it!). At least it won’t be a student gaff anymore, yay! :-)

I stayed in Steph’s new appartment last WE and it’s absolutely gorgeous!!! I’m kinda jealous, I want a nice gaff too! And it’s long overdue, given the fact I’ve been living in this horrible place for 2 year now. So yeah, it’s central, it’s big, it’s cheap, but give it another 10 years and it’ll turn into Brad Pitt’s house in Fight Club!!! And I’m not a student anymore, so I kinda really should live in a “proper” house:-)
So I’ll start looking as soon as the weather gets a bit more “human-friendly!”

well I had started looking, but then it got cold and dark and windy in the evenings and all the effort didn’t seem worthwhile… + my office is gonna be relocated so I’ll wait for that to happen 1st!

This is requiring more time and effort than I can put in at the moment:-( It’s really necessary though, so I’ll look into it when things are a bit more quiet.

Yesterday, coming back from a very nice week-end at a friend’s, I had a fit about how horrible my house was. I can’t stand the peach walls and purple curtains anymore (I wanted to change them and paint the room white, but I don’t seem to have time to do that). So I’m definitely moving! I’ll give notice to my landlord when my rent is due, but I’ll start looking before that, so I’ll have more time to find something decent!!!

The house I currently live in is old and manky, but then it’s cheap, big, near the centre and near work… It’s a tough call…
And then my flatmates are alright, like… I had a bad experience with flatmates some time ago and I don’t want that to happen again… So I dunno… It’s horrible being indecisive sometimes!!!

Well this will have to wait til October…
