I mostly watched the obedience competitions, but I did wander into the conformation area too. I saw some beautiful dobermans and bloodhounds plus a few really cute mutts in obedience.
It was definitely controlled chaos though, and I wish there had been a vendor selling dog clothes since I was on the lookout for a sweatshirt for Tiger. They had everything else in the world you could think of, but not dog clothes.

If you’ve never gone to a dog show before, be sure to follow a few simple guidelines:
1) Always ask the dog’s handler if you may pet their dog
The best time to ask is after the dog is finished in the ring
2) Buy a catalog
It lists when and where the dogs will be showing, and the purchase helps the not-for-profit host club
3) Bring a folding chair
Seating at the rings is often limited.
4) Have fun!
